Microsoft Select Agreement Ordering

Wayne State University departments are eligible to purchase a full range of Microsoft products under a Microsoft Select Agreement negotiated by the Regional Educational Media Center Association of Michigan on behalf of Michigan educational institutions. Microsoft products are available to Wayne State from TRC, Technology Resource Center, a large account reseller. Microsoft products purchased under this agreement may be installed only on University-owned computers used by faculty and staff, and in computer labs used by students. Students are not eligible to purchase Microsoft software directly under this agreement.

The Microsoft Select Agreement is a transactional licensing program that departments can use to purchase Microsoft products if their department is not part of the Microsoft Campus Agreement or if the department's Campus agreement does not cover the product required. Microsoft licenses and media may be purchased utilizing this agreement directly through the reseller, TRC.
