Wayne State University currently licenses two Thomson products:

EndNote, is an easy-to-use software program designed to search online bibliographic databases, organize references and create bibliographies. EndNote can format bibliographic entries in almost every citation style and work with most word processors.

Thomson ResearchSoft License Pricing, Distribution, and Use

FREE! All Wayne State students, faculty, and staff are allowed to use EndNote and Reference Manager free of charge.

Use of the software is permitted:

  • On Wayne State University premises
  • At home for coursework, research, or other work directly related to Wayne State University

When students or employees leave Wayne State University, they are no longer entitled to use EndNote or Reference Manager. The software must be removed from students'/employees' computer.
